Alice Merida Richards

Alice Merida Richards is a ceramic artist and musician based in Manchester. She uses wheel throwing, hand building and mould making techniques to create work that is both decorative and functional.

Drawing inspiration from ancient objects, using imperfect shapes and flat colours she explores form and abstraction.

She combines personal practice with teaching as well as various collaborative projects. She works out of Studio 65 in Old Trafford and is part of Manchester Ceramics Collective and Plates Supper club
