Sarah’s Practice leans heavily on process and play. Taking inspiration from the natural environment and the movement found in the ceramic making process, she experiments with form, construction, material manipulation and firing techniques.
sarah is currently undergoing a period of reflection and experimentation, realigning her practice to sit with values such as slow living and sustainability - increasing interaction with the plant world she appears to be obsessed with!
collaboration is a big part of the joy sarah receives from being a member of manchester ceramics collective. She is a founder of plates - a supper club exploring the connection between food and ceramics, and frequently assists kat evans in her raku firing process.
